Join us on Thursday, September 26, 2024 for an evening of community celebration as we reflect on the work done in Wisconsin in FY 2023–2024.

With a gathering of community partners, members, donors, board members & staff, the ACLU of Wisconsin reflects on the foundation that has been built at the affiliate that will set us up for future success.  As we look forward to the fight for democracy, civil rights and civil liberties, we will draw on lessons learned and our agenda for the future.

Although the event is in person, a virtual option is available. Registration is required. Please RSVP here by September 10 for in-person attendance at Milwaukee Youth Arts Center (limited availability) or by September 24 for a hosted virtual livestream of the meeting program.

There are 99 state Assembly seats and 16 state Senate seats on the ballot this November. The ACLU of Wisconsin sent a questionnaire to all candidates to gauge their positions on access to contraception and IVF, classroom censorship, marijuana legalization, and more.

Click the arrow to see where local candidates land on civil rights and liberties issues, and make an informed decision.

Find your Senate and Assembly districts:

  1. Go to MyVote.WI.gov.
  2. Enter your address in the fields under Search.
  3. Scroll down to "Representative to the Assembly District X."

The ACLU of Wisconsin does not endorse or oppose candidates. We are a nonpartisan 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization.

Correction: On 9/30/24, AD84 Candidate Zachary Roper contacted ACLU-WI to indicate incorrect responses marked for Questions 1 and 2, and his position is different than his original responses. ACLU-WI erroneously published incorrect responses for this candidate on Questions 3 through 6. Accordingly, his responses were updated on 10/1/24 to correct these errors.
