Parade and Public Art: Milwaukee People’s Parade

It’s Civil Liberties in 3-D! Join the ACLU of Wisconsin and be a part of the All-City People's Parade in Milwaukee. This celebration of free speech and public art combines floats, puppets, music and community issues. This year's theme is "Wake Up!" Volunteers are currently needed to make puppets and parade elements and all artistic skill levels are welcome. Volunteerism is on-going until the Monday, September 6th Labor Day festival. Contact Ron Fry at (262) 498-9788 or Program Director Emilio De Torre at (414) 305-8569 to mix civil liberties, social justice and art or visit the Milwaukee Public Theatre website for details.
