This year marks the 38th anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade, which established that the right to privacy includes a woman’s right to choose abortion. The Roe decision secured for women the fundamental civil and human right to make private decisions about childbearing. The ACLU of Wisconsin will join Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin along with Madison NOW, One Wisconsin Now, NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin, Wisconsin Alliance for Women's Health, Wisconsin Health Professionals for Reproductive Care, UW Law Students for Reproductive Justice, UW Advocates for Choice, State Representative Brett Hulsey, and State Representative Kelda Roys to recognize and celebrate women’s rights to all reproductive health care options. The event is free for our supporters and there will be networking, activities and light snacks. Donations welcome. Learn more about the ACLU of Wisconsin’s work on reproductive freedom.
