William F. Sulton is the President of the ACLU of Wisconsin and its foundation. Mr. Sulton is a trial lawyer in Milwaukee. He is passionate about the ACLU's leading issues, including enforcing voting rights, reforming policing and criminal justice, and stamping out discrimination in the workplace and in schools. Mr. Sulton is also a fierce advocate for the small business community in Wisconsin.
In addition to his legal career, Mr. Sulton serves as a Life Member of the American Bar Foundation, the Wisconsin Law Foundation, and the NAACP. He is a Past President of the Wisconsin Association of African American Lawyers and the Center for Self Sufficiency. Mr. Sulton is a graduate of Michigan State University's Honors College and the University of Wisconsin Law School. He is married and has four children.
